Nuclear Weapons-Hiroshima Nagasaki

Nuclear Weapons

The idea that the unfettered development of technology is good for humanity has been proven false time and time again. In other words, new technology is not always synonymous with ‘progress’, especially when nuclear weapons exist.

Nuclear Weapons in the Past

The Germans’ technological progress enabled them to develop Zyklon B gas, which allowed them to exterminate the Jews and others. Only a fool would say that this was ‘human progress’.

Neanderthals and advanced technology

On the other hand, American technology was even more ‘advanced.’ The atomic bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima by the United States on September 2, 1945 marked the end of World War II. The bombings probably represented the greatest crime against humanity. In other words, their development of nuclear weapons also enabled them to exterminate ‘inferior’ races. In this regard, the Germans and Americans had a lot in common: they were able to use the ‘advanced’ technology of their ‘superior’ race to eliminate the ‘Neanderthals.’ Examples of well-known ‘Neanderthals’ can be found below:

Furthermore, the bombing of Dresden by the British and Americans using ‘conventional’ bombs was less horrendous than the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but the mass bombing still destroyed the city and killed thousands upon thousands of civilians, their so-called ‘racial brothers’.

The question that remains here is: Who are / were the real ‘Neanderthals’?

Nuclear Weapons at Present

Currently, it seems that Western powers are attempting to demonize various dictatorial regimes to justify the future ‘rational’ ‘extermination’ of Communists, Muslims, Asians, and other ‘undesirables’.

This also relates to the discussion about how the development of weapon technology is way out of control. Obviously, this is a complex debate, but if one takes the simple view that in 1945 the US had two nuclear weapons, today, it has 8,360. Logically, it could destroy Hiroshima and Nagasaki 4000 times over.

In addition, Russia has as many. So without even considering the nuclear weapons of other countries, Russia and the US can roughly destroy about 16,000 major cities. Given that there are only 500 major cities in the world, these two countries can destroy each city 32 times over!

Of course, I haven’t even taken into account all the other negative effects of a global nuclear war. So the simple question remains: Does this represent technological progress? Does this mean human progress? The idea of combining nuclear technology with AI technology has not even been considered in this equation.

Faulty Logic

Of course, all the above reasoning is based on faulty logic. It assumes that humans are in control of their own destinies. It doesn’t consider that people are travelling down a treacherous mountain road in a car without brakes. Thus, humans are suffering from two aspects of arrogance here. First, they believe the world is progressing towards some kind of ideal world. In other words, the idea of ‘positivism and progress’.28

The second logical fault is the Christian idea of ‘free will’ – that humans are in control of their own destiny. Of course, this latter idea is highly absurd, even with the most casual observations. It is also absurd in relation to the fields of physics, astronomy, and evolution, to name a few. Theorists like Marx manage to utilize a so-called Orwellian ‘doublethink’.29 In other words, he says that class struggle is inevitable and that the working class will emerge victorious. Then, in the same breath, he says that the working class needs to act. Even a simpleton can see the faulty logic here.

In other words, humans are caught up in the web of their own foolishness. But as mentioned, this is a family history and not a philosophical and political treatise ha ha. ☺ But it was good to get this off my shoulders.
