Eldest son is William. Then James, Alexander (my grandfather), Harry, and Margaret. Thus the mysterious wedding photo is perhaps the sons of William.
1903 marriage of William (van driver?); married to Annie Grant; 84 Gorgie Road. (My father was born
at 134 Gorgie Road; Annie Grant’s father is called Lewis? he is a mason; the mother is Flora Grant
(m.s. McKinnon).
Nb. Regarding the ‘mystical’ wedding photo when my father is about 10 years old it seems likely that this is the wedding of William’s children, although there is no way of proving this without cross-referencing the documents and photos of other relations; the other possibility is the Heatly connection suggested elsewhere.
